Offices and terms
What is included in a private office?
Furniture, Wi-Fi, utilities, the kitchen, printing and scanning, mail and package receiving, and — with most offices — a set number of conference-room hours each month. The quote lists exactly what applies to your office.
How long do I have to commit?
Month to month with one month's notice is the default. One- and two-year agreements earn free months; the specials page shows current offers.
Is there a deposit?
A security deposit may apply depending on the office and term. It is spelled out on your quote before you sign anything.
Can I grow into a bigger office or a suite?
Yes, subject to what is open in the center at the time. Tell us early and we will keep an eye on the next office to free up.
When can I get in?
Business hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. Building access outside those hours varies by building; we go over the details for your center on the tour.
Meeting rooms
How do I book a room?
On the live booker, by phone, or by asking us. Office clients' included hours apply automatically. Depositions and mediations go through Depo Pros.
What is the cancellation policy?
Meeting-room bookings not cancelled three business days before the booking are non-refundable.
Will someone greet my guests?
Guests arrive by appointment with instructions to the room. Some centers do not have a staffed desk at all hours, so we confirm arrival details when you book rather than promising someone will be waiting.
Mail and virtual offices
Can I receive mail and packages at my office?
Yes, during business hours. Mail is held for you at the center; packages too.
What is a virtual office?
Your business at one of our addresses without a physical office: mail received and scanned or forwarded, plus meeting-room access. Plans are run by Same Day Virtual.
Can I use the address to register my business or open a bank account?
Many clients use it as the business address on their website, letterhead and correspondence. Banks and state filings each set their own rules for which address goes where (some filings ask for the street address where the business is actually run), so check those before you file or open an account.
Is my mail secure?
Mail is handled by our own staff inside the suite and released only to you or to someone you have authorized in writing.
The buildings
Do you own the buildings?
No. Icon Centers operates the office suites inside each building; the buildings themselves are owned and managed by others. Building amenities such as lobbies, parking and after-hours access are set by the building and vary from one to the next.
Is parking available?
Most buildings have parking nearby or on site, paid separately and set by the building, not by us. We will give you the options for your center on the tour.
Where is your team?
Our main office is at 611 Wilshire Blvd, Suite 900, in Downtown Los Angeles. The same team looks after all nine centers and is reachable by phone and email on business days.
Longer answers are in our guides: executive suite vs coworking vs a lease, questions to ask on a tour and month-to-month terms.
